Notes:
Launched in 2006 to celebrate the 30e anniversary of the Nautilus, the reference 5980 is a special watch in the Patek Philippe collections. The first automatic chronograph developed entirely in-house, this watch is equipped with the CH 28-520C caliber. Our model is the most sought-after by collectors because it was only produced in steel for 8 years. Still in the brand’s catalogue, the Nautilus 5980 is today available only in rose gold or in rose gold and steel. The design of its dial, marked by a large “mono-counter”, has earned it the nickname “Bull Eye” among enthusiasts. Accompanied by its certificate of origin, the present watch is particularly attractive because it is the first series, stamped with the Geneva hallmark. From 2009 onwards, Patek Philippe will stamp the movement of the 5980 with its own PP hallmark.
